Truth Social

I am not writing in opposition to Derrick Johnson, merely pointing out there are two Americas.  One America believes justice was not served and another believes justice was served. Folks, to move forward as a people we must be of one accord.

I blame this division on the press, social media and big tech. Also, too many people believe everything they read on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.

Stop lying to me. Do not lie to me to try to manipulate me. Do not lie to me to make the current occupiers of the White House, local and state elected officials look better, just tell me the truth.

While you are at it, stop trying to silence, censor and cancel everyone who disagrees with you. It is completely contrary to the values of this country. No one on the right side of history has ever done this.

Furthermore, stop telling me what to think, what to say and what to do. Show some respect for individuals. Stick to things that the government really needs to do and do well.

Other than that, leave me alone.

To the press, big tech and social media your methods are counterproductive. People of goodwill want to see more Black socioeconomic advancement.  In too many instances, the way issues are portrayed by the media causes more division and disruption than approaches that bring all communities together.  Your acknowledgment of your actions is an important first step to America’s healing.
